Lessons of Life (Part 2): The Power of Thanksgiving and Stepping Into More

This year is not a year to shrink back. It’s a year to stretch your faith, strengthen your spirit, and allow thanksgiving to unlock the impossible. When gratitude becomes a lifestyle, peace rules your heart and great results follow.

Thanksgiving Service – Lessons of Life 2

This year, you cannot afford to be discouraged. According to Pastor Albert Ofori, this is not a season to play small—it is a year to expand your horizon, step up, stretch yourself, and attempt the impossible. Growth demands movement, and faith demands action.

There are battles many people couldn’t fight off in 2025, but Pastor Albert was clear: it wasn’t because God failed. It was because spiritual strength was lacking. Weakness in the spirit makes challenges feel overwhelming. The solution isn’t to blame God or fight Jesus—it’s to confront the devil with spiritual authority.

Like Jesus did, we must boldly declare, “Get thee behind me, Satan.” Victory starts when we recognize who the real enemy is and choose to fight from a place of faith.

One of the strongest reminders from the message was this: stop depending on people to grow your faith. People can encourage you, but your spiritual growth is your responsibility. Faith must be personal, intentional, and nurtured daily.

Pastor Albert also emphasized a powerful truth about peace. God will not give you peace—He already has. The responsibility is ours to allow that peace to manifest. When we permit the peace of God to rule in our hearts, chaos loses its control.

“Let the peace of God rule in your heart.”
— Colossians 3:15

Thanksgiving was the heartbeat of the service. Being thankful is more than saying “thank you.” Gratitude is a posture of the heart, not just words from the mouth. When your life is full of thanksgiving, your “tank” is full—and there is power in that fullness.

Pastor Albert Ofori Quotes

  • Any unconfessed faith can’t manifest.
  • Saying thank you and being grateful are two different things.
  • You can’t ask God for things without thanking Him first.
  • When you thank God, He multiplies and blesses you.
  • Learn to appreciate what people do for you.

Thanksgiving activates multiplication. It opens doors, attracts blessings, and deepens spiritual awareness. When you thank God genuinely, you acknowledge what He has already done—and that gratitude creates room for more.

Key Lessons from the Service

1. Work out your own salvation.
Your spiritual life requires investment. Prayer, study, faith, and obedience are not optional. Growth doesn’t happen by accident—it happens by intention.

2. Attempt great things to achieve great results.
Small attempts produce small outcomes. If you desire success, you must be willing to try big things, step out in faith, and trust God beyond your comfort zone.

Life is a classroom, and every season comes with its own lessons. Some lessons come with joy and celebration, others arrive through pain, silence, or waiting. Yet through it all, God is intentional about shaping us, stretching us, and preparing us for what is next. This reflection is for your sanity, your soul, and your spiritual growth. Take your time with it. Smile where you can. Pause where you need to. And let the Holy Spirit speak personally to you.

The First Key Is Honour: Unlocking Greater Works in God

John 14:12 reminds us that we are called to do greater works. God has chosen us to represent Him on earth, and these greater works are not optional — they are part of our divine mandate. But to walk in them, we must embrace the spiritual keys that position us for God’s power and purpose.
